Easy steps to make Sushi Maki
Making Maki Sushi is easy. The steps are very simple and easy to follow.
Maki is a Japanese dish and bookmark. It can be any type of sushi roll with rice and nori (aka seaweed) inside. "Maki" means Japanese Rollo.
There are several types of Maki, depending on the filler used. For example, California Maki. These salmon and mango and rice wrapped in seaweed. Kappa Maki cucumber is rolled in rice. And Tekka Maki tuna is rolled in rice.
Uramaki is more complex. Only a skilled leader can do to perfection. Most are easy to take Temaki. Temaki is often served at social gatherings at home.
There are several sushi maki elements depending on the thickness of the roller. Hosomaki is the most common and is made of thin cylinders. For thin, this means that the rollers are thin, with small bands of each ingredient in it. Hosamaki is reduced to smaller sizes before serving.
Thicker Futomaki rolls are called. They are thick because of the many ingredients in it. Big roll can be measured 1 to 1 ½ inches in diameter. Futomaki Most are made of vegetables like radish and cucumber. Some eggs also. As hosamaki, Futomaki also cut into small pieces before serve today. Maki Sushi Recipe
Ingredients:
Sashimi quality fish or sushi
Nori (seaweed paper)
Wasabi
Vegetables or other ingredients (eg, asparagus, avocado, cucumber)
In the short-grained rice with a sticky consistency
Rice vinegar
Gari (root thinly sliced ginger)
Soy sauce
First visit sushi rice. Prepare the rice vinegar. Combine with the salt and sugar are heated. Cook rice, making sure they have a sticky consistency. This type of rice suitable for spreading on the nori.
Lengthen the plastic bamboo mat and place on top. Place the nori with the shiny side down. Lightly wet your hands and take a handful of rice. Spread evenly and thinly on the nori. Exit margin of an inch on all sides of the nori. Place the other ingredients in the middle.
