Breakfast Bars: A Top 3 Review
There are so many breakfast and granola bars, whole grains available today that taste good, but they know exactly that are healthy and good for you and those that are mostly junk? It takes almost a nutritionist to guide you in the grocery store today, so I wrote this short article to give my 2 cents and some information on nutrition and on the question.
First, I think it's the brand that helped Tha Kashi to gain new granola bar in your state's healthy snack choices. There is a rich blend of natural proteins and nuts, and seven whole grains, so their a good appetizer, dessert or an after work pick-me-up. In reality, contains 7 grams of total protein per serving of almonds and crunchy soybeans, recalling Rice Krispies. And for those of you trying to increase their protein content, you know that's not a joke for a snack! The Kashi TLC granola bars have 4 grams of fiber portion, in part by the inclusion of flax seed. Of course, no white sugar, or even popular Brown Sugar, but it is sweetened with wildflower honey and brown rice syrup. I want Kashi TLC Chewy Granola Bars also contains 7 different whole grains and sesame seeds, including hard red winter wheat, oats, rye, barley, triticale, brown rice, long grain, buckwheat and sesame seeds.
Now, what about Quaker simple harvest bars? The harvest of a single line is marketed as simple and healthy ingredients. My favorite, the Quaker Simple Harvest Dark Chocolate Chunk Multigrain Granola Bars are a delicious bar granola with simple ingredients and good food, but is mainly oats and barley and wheat. There are 2 grams of fiber into one, which is below the Kashi bar. Quaker Simple Harvest Dark Chocolate Chunk Multigrain Granola Bars are actually quite simple in terms of its ingredients: whole grain oat tops the list of ingredients, followed by the pieces of semi-sweet chocolate, no partially hydrogenated oil and no corn syrup, high fructose corn (or corn syrup from others, too). High in taste and nutritional content is very good.
And now, my least favorite: Nutri-Grain Fruit and Nut Bars. Nutrigrain The bar has a very soft texture, except peanut in a few. Nutri-Grain Fruit and Nut Bars Cranberry, Raisin, and the flavor is a mixture of peanut Virginia Peanuts, whole oats, cranberries and raisins, a healthy mix of goodies. Berry & Almond's version is a blend of California almonds, whole oats, and natural taste of blueberries and strawberries. But here's the deal: the bar has 3 grams fiber, 11 grams of sugar, 3 grams protein, and although not everyone is as bad of a snack with fiber, protein and low in calories, unfortunately, is filled with corn syrup, high fructose corn, which is less than their friends level of blood sugar. So my vote: Kashi TLC!
