Seeking ideas for a weekend in California?

I live in North Bay and I expect a spontaneous trip this weekend with friends. I'm looking for any suggestions for a destination and things to do. We could probably spend an entire day to this destination with a meal is a good restaurant / fun. Help me out - Suggest a destination and things to do, places to visit cool places to eat, the potential of ideas, the nightlife and more. Example ... "Going to San Francisco. Take the ferry to the city. Check Pier 39, and the DeYoung Museum. For dinner - Benihana! The next day, Anchor Steam Brewery Tour. Neighbors Roll at Berkeley for a Cal basketball game Enjoy! Day 1 - Spend the day @ the new Academy of Sciences in San Francisco! Dinner Embarcadero @ @ Palomino, with stunning views over the bay! (Type of expensive but delicious food and a great view!) Walk / Fisherman's Wharf, Embarcadero and take pictures of the beautiful view. End the night Club Suite 181 (21 +), where it remains part there! Or you can visit the many bars around the Union Street or Geary Blvd .. Day 2 - Winchester Mystery House in San Jose. You can spend atleast 3 hours there. Just around the corner is a large shopping mall Westfield and facing Santana Row, where you will find tons of shops and restaurants creators! Westfield Mall also has Cheesecake Factory, one of my Fave places to eat! You can stop by the International Automobile, which is in San Jose this weekend and will be atleast another 4 hours! He preview the latest and hottest cars. I believe that the admission of only $ 8! You can end the evening in downtown San Jose where there are many bars / clubs and restaurants!
